Robin Hood ( no spoilers)

Very good movie. There will be a number 2. It kinda of gave a little back story on robin hood but trust me it's not drawn out. Plenty of fighting and action. Movie was like 2 hr long. It's a must see

It's getting pretty bad reviews. I definitely want to see it but I will probably wait until it's released on DVD.

That's probably because it doesn't follow the tradional story of Robin Hood. They set the second one up and that should be the Tradional Robin.

What site or where was it getting bad reviews?
Edit- never mind alot are. Keep in mind it's setting up a 2nd movie, it's really good none the less. The back story is good and warrented in my opinion.

Yeah, like I said, I will definitely see it. Just not sure I am going to rush out and see it in the theaters.

EDIT: FYI - I use rottentomatoes.com for most movies. They compile several different critics and give an overall rating.

Say no more. I never go by that website. Movies they say that are good are bad and vise versa. Very few turn out right for me so I stopped using them.

I'm probably one of the only people that don't listen to the critics for this very often. Probably because I've been burned in the past. They say a movie is horrible, I go see and it turns out to be great.

I've wanted to see this one since first preview...and I think I'm going.

Seems like the "critics" always slam superhero and action movies. They just want character building/changing dramas. They hate seeing boobs, explosions, and blood.

Rotten Tomatos has this at 47% right now. By comparison, they have that Kevin Costner dung pile at 54%. I have a hard time believing the new one could be worse than the non-english accent Robin Hood. They also have Men in Tights at 43%... come on! That was hillarious!

I'm looking forward to seeing this one, but it is in line behind Iron Man 2 and Nightmare still. I gotta get to the theatre soon.

I never waste my time with critics. It can be odd some times how they rate a great movie as bad. Like come on

I know what you guys mean I have flixster on my phone, one of their sources is Rotten tomatoes and I'm amazed by how off they are IMO. They said Nightmare on Elm Street was horrible cause it was to much like the original, which I thought was the point of having reamkes lol. these people are clueless who doesn't want to watch a good action flick with a lot of action I remember when Tranformers came out and bashed it for having to much destuction. To myself I'm thinking they're 200 ft robots what did you expect for them to do lol.

Iron Man 2 was pretty good to. I'm going to see Kick Ass maybe next week if not tomorrow

I thought Robin Hood was good but it really felt like a prologue to the real story. But as you said bullet, which I totally agree they have already planned to make a second Robin Hood.
