Xbox one new Dashboard

last night I got this message from xbox

once the preview app was pulled up under announcements it says you have to opt in in order to get the new dashboard update when it comes out later this week
They are also going to limit the amount of people who get to test it out to active people in the preview program. which I would think as long as you do the surveys and all that , that each update has been putting out you will be fine .

Have been seeing many reports of games not working.  Specifically some people not being able to play Destiny and/or Elite: Dangerous which are the two games I'm playing currently.  So I don't think I'll be opting in on this one until they get those issues taken care of.

Got the same message sticky and I opted in for the new experience.
The only thing that made me hesitate was the last warning: "you may lose any data/games on the internal drive"

But I pulled the trigger anyway. We'll see...

I got the message too, but noticed Destiny TTK was not working with it right now. Seeing as I just dropped $40 for TTK, I decided to opt out 😓. I'm still looking forward to it, but now it looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer.

Ya I got the notice but I'm not sure I want to lose my stuff. And have to reinstall a lot. Maybe I'll transfer most things to my external drive. Let me know what you guys experience

I'm opted in. Seems like a blast. And ttk has a chance not to work from what I read. Plus I keep everything on externals anywho

I need to crank the ol xbox up and see if the darn thing still works.....haven't been on any console for a while. Too frickin' busy all the time. I shall return....you have been warned!

Just wanted to say it is very, very cool!!

Still have not got it yet. I need to check that Destiny is working well with it now. I just read that party chat now supports 12 people- I don't know how I missed that before (or forgot about it). That's a big win!

There are hiccups here and there with it but it's still in beta. The only thing I've found that didn't work so far is the MLB.TV App. That's big for me, but it's also the end of the baseball season and all playoff games are on TBS, Fox, etc. so no big deal.

There's tons of new apps and stuff that I find everyday. Shortcuts have been perfected. You can even choose which buttons, triggers you use for each shortcut (customization to your specific liking) which is pretty neat.

I'm sure you'll get it soon.

I have it and it works. I have issues but idk if that due to me or the os as I have my account on another xbox as home

so far i have played all the games i own and zero problems with the dashboard.

i did have an app act weird for a few tries but cant really pin that on the dashboard

KnightOwl reports the party system has been expanded - says he was the 11th member of a party chat last night. Cool beans!

Only problem I had was cold-booting my box with my external HDDs in caused issues with connecting to XBL, but it was an easy fix. The new dash is so fast and well-organized, I'm loving it.

Just for those still wondering...Xbox let the cat out the bag last night on the H5 live stream.
