did not get one

...and I think Kenny was the only one on the PS4 to get one. None for me and last I heard none of Puppets came through.

Why are they being so cheap with codes don't they want to really test the servers?

I think chances that I buy this game have gotten slimmer now that I didn't get into the beta to even try the game. They sent out emails telling us to keep an eye out for invites and then only see out a limited amount. Seriously with every one here who applied only 2 people got codes. Who they hell did they send them to?

i really think they will open beta it ..
or at least i would think they would want to stress test there Mega servers

and seeing around twitter and all does not seem like alot of people got in at all

I got snubbed too. No bueno.

Got on at lunch for a few minutes and just snapped a few screenshots.  The game looks very good and is smooth as butter (in the 20 minutes or so I got on it so far).  Will update again later.

REALLY like how you can hold down on the d-pad and move your right stick back and forth to control your FoV.

Let us know when you stream i need to watch and get my fix. lol

Couldn't you just watch the massive amount of PC gameplay out there already? xD

I did that for all three of my email accounts, no codes.

Yeah, they were VERY picky I guess.  I'm shocked I got one after seeing how few they handed out.  I signed up with three accounts within minutes and only got the one.

That sucks to hear (and easy for me to say I guess) but I can tell you after a full night of playing the beta that if you are an RPG fan and/or Elder Scrolls fan you'd be missing out big time.  The game looks amazing and has played great so far.  I was doing some missions last night and ended up just wandering off in the world and killing random stuff and checking out corners of the map I probably would normally not look.  After all it's a beta so I'm not going to get too into builds/leveling like I would in the main release.

I was planning on getting the game already, but this beta has 100% reinforced that decision.  If nothing else just keep an eye on it after it releases to see what more people think about it.  I have a feeling this game is going to take off like crazy once word gets out about how much better it is than when it was released on PC a year ago.  A lot of people are writing it off due to it's terrible PC release.

Have to admit, I only paid to transfer to console to occasionally play with friends, whilst the PC remains my primary focus. But since playing the beta I think I'll be making console my main focus now. I don't know what it is, but with this new UI, how it plays with the controller and things like the proximity voice chat. It feels to me as this game was always designed with console more in mind, it felt more complete.
I know a lot will disagree, but it's just how I feel.

Yup I do like RPGs and love the elder scrolls series so I probay will not write it off completely just feeling a little burnt right now that's all. My other problem with games like this is if I don't put in enough time I will end up being left behind and playing solo tends to not be to great in an Mmorpg. But I do love the series so I guess I'm about 50% on buying it.

I'm trying to decide between ESO and Witcher 3 because I doubt I'll get both. Here's the score so far...

Kinda hard to argue with that logic.  

If I had to choose, I would go W3 but I am a pretty big fan boy of the Witcher series and the game looks amazing (I also have W3 wallpaper on my PC and theme on the PS4 lol).  But it's also a Single Player experience so there is that to consider.

And after watching Kenny stream all last night I can safely say that I will be getting ESO as well as W3.

@ OC, I also found it interesting that ESO seems more SP friendly than most MMO's.  I can honestly see myself playing this solo for hours on end as well as teaming up for a dungeon.

That's one thing I learned to ignore with MMOs.  Group of friends get together and say "Hey, let's play this MMO together".  Some friends have more time than others and want to play the game and not have to wait for everyone to get online.  Happens all the time.  I prefer to play solo until end-game.  That way I don't feel I need to rush to catch up to people or wait hours for them to get online. I also like to read quests and learn about the lore of the game.  It's not until end-game where the planning and scheduling for dungeons and raids usually happens anyway.

Agreed.  It's a rare circumstance that players in a game like this are dedicated enough to keep at the exact same levels/quests as other in their group.  I usually do the same as far as soloing at least my first character.  I want to see the whole game, do as many quests as I want to do without worrying about whether or not I'm going too fast or too slow for the other guys.  With all there is to offer there will be PLENTY to do solo.  Sometimes I just want to spend an entire night chilling and working on crafting.  Sometimes I want to grind quests.  And then there are times like last night where I didn't really feel like doing anything specific and just randomly walked around checking out the sights.

Good to know. I don't have a lot of MMO experience. I know playing never winter sucks for because it have very little story of lore. So playing with out a group is just run here kill these things run back talk to this guy run here and kill these things. Rinse wash and repeat.  I am glad to hear Eso still has a good story with it.
