I've never left a theatre at the end where it was dead silence all the way out the door. It was a great movie. Being from Hico, Tx (Near Stephenville-where he was shot, and Glen Rose-where he grew up and Hamilton-Where his dad lives) I knew all about him before the book and movie came out. Therefore i was super stoked to get to see it all on the big screen. His procession went through Hico, it was amazing the amount of people lining the streets.

Yeah I only about him because he was talked about a lot through the military and especially with some of the SF guys!! Very inspiring. Showed how patriotism should look!! Anybody that gets this movie bootleg deserves to be punched in the throat!!

^This. However, my next theater trip will probably be the last 2 ep of GoT Season 4 and the Season 5 special trailer in IMAX. Gotta pick my trips wisely since the wife and I don't get a lot of movie time with the kiddo.

Yes I agree! Im lucky i only have one kid and the family is close so they don't mind watching him ever lol
Did y'all happen to catch all the backfire from Seth Rogan and that fat prick Moores' comments about the movie??

I haven't been able to see it yet. Mostly for the same reasons that Puppet brings up, 2 kids for me, but also because of the Rogan/Moore comments and politicizing of the movie in general. Went thru the same thing with Lone Survivor, waited for DVD and enjoyed it a lot more I think. Kind of a cool story in relation to Lone Survivor, I went to the Rangers game the night after I watched it and sat a few seats down from Marcus Luttrell. He was the vet the team was honoring that night.

Man thats awesome! Yes i actually saw that movie while I was deployed it was very good! These are the type of movies that just make feel very American lol
