XP Needed Per Level (Lvl 1-20)

So I'm grinding out my alt and I'm trying to figure out how much XP is needed per level.  It doesn't really matter, since I have to get the 5.5 lvls no matter what, but I'm just trying to figure out how much more of a grind it will be.  

I just eeked over into lvl 14 and then cashed in two Crucible bounties for 7500 XP and that got me a little over 1/2 way to lvl 15.  By my guess, that would mean it takes about 15k/lvl.  However, I can't find this info confirmed anywhere.  Also, I'm not sure if the XP/lvl is constant or if it goes up with each level.  

Does anyone have any thoughts or insight?

No idea as it's never taken very long to get leveled to 20.  Just hit 16 and equip that end game gun and tear everything up for the next 4 levels.  I'm sure you do the PvE bounties too, but if not do those and it will help.

Yeah, the only reason I did the Crucible bounties was because I had done all this Vanguard ones I could (I have some for planets that aren't unlocked yet).  I'll probably power thru the story too, so I can open all the locations up for Vanguard bounties.

15k/lvl seems about right, at least for the levels I'm at, although it might be 1k per lvl your trying to get to.  I pulled in about 36k in Crucible and had like 2-3 bounties so I probably had around 40-42k in all and I went from 14.5 to 17.
