Can't wait for the movie. Really glad they're fleshing out the story using tidbits from the Silmarillion to give more background on LotR characters.

Sweet God the Silmarillion was like reading the Long Island phone book, I preferred reading the Cataloge of Ships, but it's good to know they're using some of the best LotR source material for the movie.
