Are there preset sound modes? On the XP500's I use setting 7 which is footstep mode and it did wonders on Blops 2 and Ghosts, but hasn't been that amazing on AW.

I think with the lack of constant silent footstep perks and one particularly for the exo suit that's what they have made their focus. I can hear those from a mile away. Footsteps are not what they used to be.

Yes- there are 12 preset sound modes on the headset. There are probably 50 to choose from, and you load the 12 you want. I have the Turtle Beach Optimized, the Shooter, Super Ears, and Footstep mode to name a few.

How about mic usage on PC? Feel like plugging yours in and seeing if it picks up your voice?
