College Football

I figured we could use a place to trash talk eachother's teams during the season since college football is such a polarizing sport and we're all over the country and fans of many different teams.  So, anyone that's up for some good fun and trash talking post up who you like and call out your opponents.

I'm from Illinois but I'm not an Illini fan (NIU is my IL team) but I've been "adopted" into the MSU family by my wife and her family who are from East Lansing area.  

Today I'm calling out all you Nebraska fans, you're making a mistake coming into East Lansing because the Spartans are out for blood in their first conference game.  I think it should be a good one, but the Spartans will prevail!

My Sooners are playoff bound.  Talk all you want.

Ummm pretty certain the Sooners are screwed now...and as bad as I hate saying this after yesterday I think Auburn might be the best team in the best conference.

Would have been nice if Mich St had a stronger schedule so they could have moved up more than 2 spots.  This was the week for winners in the top 25 to make moves.

Talk about a wild week for college football.  Upsets left and right all over the place.  It was a great day for Miss football and while I am not a fan, when you live in the state you can't help but be happy for them.  Now it's time to take one of them down a notch this weekend.  WAR EAGLE!

Was a CRAZY week in CFB!  Spent the entire day watching upset after upset and then watch my Huskers fall on their asses again like usual when they face good competition.

I honestly wasn't sure that Mich St was going to be able to take down the Huskers, but I'm sure glad they did.  This was a really good week to win against a quality opponent.

That all depends on your definition of "quality".  As a die hard Husker fan I can't say we've been "quality" in a LONG time.  At least not to my standards.

Compared to the way weaker teams that their other wins came against, the win last Saturday was much more useful.

I am a fan of college football but dont really have a favorite team. In my younger days I was a fan of the Miami Hurricanes. Not since before high school have I liked them. Always rooted for notre Dame but I don't really have A favorite team.

Very proud to see my alma mater OSU in the first college football playoff, and now we're in the title game.

Go Bucks!!!

Looks like Williie will not pass probation. Anyone how is an Ohio State fan is automatically out! J/K. It should be a good title game, as the Buckeyes are hitting their stride right now, and the Ducks are always on fire.

Very happy to have a non-SEC championship game for once!  I want to root for my conference to win (Ohio State) but Scott Frost (Ex-Husker) is the OC for Oregon so I'm kind of torn.  Really would love for it to be a highly competitive game either way.  Hate that it means the end of the CFB season though as I couldn't care less about the NFL.

I don't know if OSU will be able to keep up with Oregon.  I'd love to see OSU bring the title home to the Big 10, but Oregon is just running over kids and putting up Madden numbers.
