PS4 Raid Run

Would it be worth it to have weekly raid threads to aid in coordination?

I am gonna try and run the Raid tonight if we can get the guys together.  My internet is supposed to be fixed now so I should be good to go.  I'll be online starting around 7pm central.  I'd like to start the raid no later than 9pm central if possible.  The earlier the better but I will be running Dailies and Weeklies/Nightfall till we get enough bro to show up.  Anyone interested should join us.

Raid was a great success tonight. Finished in about 2 1/2 hours total, including some down time right before The final boss. We refined our strat and really started to nail our roles. Everything was pretty smooth start to finish. Nice work tonight guys. 

Raid crew: Interseptor, Kenny, Panzer, Apex, Puppet and Pacifist. 

All I got was Shards but some of the guys got some nice stuff tonight too. Good times. I'd like to try a Hard mode run later this week and see what happens.

Had a great time and I'd be up for a hard raid this weekend, possibly Saturday night.  I don't know if I'll find the stuff to get enough shards to upgrade my gear to 29, but I'm still up for a try if there's a spot.

So, I'm thinking that until we get more of us at 29/30, our tentative plan should be normal raid to start the week (possibly weeknight) and then run the hard mode on the weekend.  That should give us all a shot at raid gear and more time to test strats that we can then use on the hard raid.  Also, running the hard one on the weekend would give us more time to work.

Got my first piece of raid gear from tonight's run, a sweet set of gloves.  Of course, my gloves had been completely upgraded so now I've gotta put in some work to get back up to level 28.  Lost 9 points of light with the swap to the raid gloves but I only need like 1 point to get back up to level 28.

I crossed the barrier to 29 last night with the 2 upgrades I pulled off. Thanks for letting me tag along guys.

Great night last night and tons of fun.  Get ready to do it all again tonight!  Also, with 5 of us at 29 now, Hard mode runs are just around the corner.  I know Puppet is close to 28 now too.  Hard mode will be conquered soon!  Be sure to get those gun leveled up too, if they aren't already.

I'll be on after work today, I feel I'm going to not be working out tonight.

If I use my non-raid gloves I'm like a couple points from lvl 29, but I've taken a hit to my light level with having to start leveling my raid gloves.  I'll probably hold onto my old gear for the nightfall and weeklys, but we'll see how that goes.  Hopefully I can get the shards I need to upgrade and use the raid gear

Cool.  I forgot about the new Raid gloves taking a hit on your level.  During a Hard Raid you'll want to put your highest lvl stuff on but for Weeklies and Nightfall we should be able to carry you so you can lvl up faster.  Soon enough your Raid stuff will be your best stuff and you can break your old stuff down.  I'm in no real hurry anyway.  I'd like us all to be lvl 29 with fully maxed weapons ideally.  Won't be long now.

I am down for my second run tonight if anyone is around.  Normal or Hard, whatever we feel like.

Pretty much a no-go this weekend.  I might pop on here or there but nothing definite.  And I need to still run the nightfall and weekly heroic so those will probably be on the schedule for Monday night so I can get them in before the week resets.

Another solid run last night guys!  We took Frank through for the first time and adjusted smoothly with all our positions.  It really feels like things are starting to click for us.  There were a few hiccups along the way but I was very impressed how everyone adapted to the different roles when needed.  No panic, just getting the job done.

Also congratz to Frank for a solid first time run in the VoG.

P.S. Don't worry Puppet, Frank picked up your slack on the floating platform jumps.

So I'm not the only one that uberfails at the jumps.  That's seriously the hardest part of the raid for me.

Thanks i got my weapon to 300 today and hit 28. Did the nightfall for the first time ever 12 energies from it:)

A new week is upon us and the Raid resets tomorrow.  What days work for you guys this week?  My Alt is finally 29 but not quite ready for Hard in terms of equipment so I'll be looking to Take my Alt on Normal this week.  Who is down and when?

EDIT: P.S. we also need to try out the new Atheon fight and see how that goes.

I'll be up for the raid possibly on Wednesday or Friday night.  If possible, I'd like to hit the nightfall before so I can get the extra xp to start leveling my raid gloves.  Got them last Wednesday when we did the normal run but I haven't been able to play since so they're completely unleveled and I have crap for shards to max them out.  

Still have my old gloves to kick me back up to 28, if needed, otherwise I'm 27 with no maxed weapons.  Going to try and run the weekly heroic and nightfall tonight for the week that ends today, but we'll see how that goes.  I'm also going to try and farm Vanguard marks to try and buy some stuff to break down and I might use some motes to get an engram or two this weekend from Xur to break down.

Now that you're 28 again you should be good to go without switch up your gear.  A little more work and you'll be ready for Hard.  Right now I am thinking we run Normal during the week and go for a Hard run this weekend.  Seems like a lot of us have limited time this week and Hard will take some time to crack.  Took me, Kenny and Panzer about 5-6 hours on our first try so we will need some time to do it.

I'm in for normal tonight to continue weapons developement.

I'd be up for normal on Wednesday night and possibly nightfall or weekly heroic.  I probably will just barely hit 29 by this weekend (most likely Saturday night) but I'm not sure if I'll have weaps to 300 ATK for it.  Either way, I'd be up for it for the experience, even if we don't get thru it.
