4 player co-op coming to dragon age.

BioWare is bringing multiplayer to Dragon Age: Inquisition, a mode that the developer describes as "an action-packed dungeon-crawling four-player co-op experience" with fast-paced, strategic team gameplay.
In a FAQ posted to the official Dragon Age website, BioWare explains that in Inquisition's multiplayer mode players will embark on missions given by specialists; acquire gold and loot; craft new items; and unlock new characters, weapons, potions, armor and more. The goal, BioWare says, "is to make a fun dungeon-crawling experience that you can play with your friends. There will be no pay walls in Dragon Age multiplayer. Everything is accessible with gold coins. You can use premium currency, but you don't have to."

Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer won't have an impact on the game's single-player campaign, and vice versa, BioWare says. The cooperative mode's story is separate from the game's campaign, and items from multiplayer won't carry over to single-player.
"We wanted to make sure that the two economies are separate, which will allow a stronger progression in both SP and MP," BioWare says. "If you play Dragon Age multiplayer, you will learn how each class plays a different role in combat, how different skills work, and how your party composition can give you a tactical advantage on the battlefield. This knowledge is transferable to SP, but items are not."
Inquisition multiplayer will launch with 12 characters, with more planned after launch.

Dragon Age: Inquisition comes to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Nov. 18 in North America, Nov. 21 in Europe.

This might be the tipping point for me to get this.  Finish up the story, play some MP, and have something to take ESOs place.

Sweet! Definitely bumps the games appeal.

When they first were announced I was 50/50 on this and all over ESO.  Even after the sub info I was still more interested in ESO.  However, as time passed, I think I'll be more interested in this.

I played 1, 2, & all the DLC with a couple different characters and put in probably 150-200 hrs so I guess I'd like to see how the story comes out.  My only complaint with the 360 games had been the stock dungeons that many items only got a new skin, if they were lucky.  Otherwise, I liked the character progression system, the equipment system, the PC/party NPC relationships and the story.

I think I will gamefly it still and then buy it if this MP thing proves to give it more replay value.  MP could be really cool if there's enough content - I doubt it would be on the same scale as MMO content though.

I know they're apples and oranges, with the only similarity being they're RPGs, but the story would be the reason I'd get it, MP would be a bonus.

Yeah I love that story line.  Just not sure about buying it outright.

That's what I was orginally thinking, but if I'm not playing ESO this could take that spot and with it coming out in mid November, this would be an Xmas gift so I wouldn't get to it till late December, good time for a Destiny break.

But Destiny DLC drops in December just in time to suck you back in. 

I'm not sure what other games I might ask for for Xmas so this will probably be on the list either way.
