How much are these modems? I rent mine. It's just a few bucks a month I think but my modem is just a cheap Motorola Surfboard. I could probably buy one for $50 or less but it's nice to just swap it out whenever I want. In fact, I just got a new one before the update.

When I was looking at DOCSIS 3 modems they were like $80-120, depending upon where you found them and if you got a sale for them. I posted up a thread about them and got some help, it has some info I the Tech forum. On my cell so I didn't get the link to the thread first.
