Hellz yeah, just got my new speed upgrade (no extra cost) from Time Warner Cable.  Gotta give a shout out to Google Fiber coming to Austin for getting TWC to get their heads out of their asses!

To bad the improvements only occur in the places Google Fiber has chosen or moved into. One day we might not have to consider the ISP as the bottleneck, wouldn't that be nice.

Totally agree.  I'm lucky in that I live where Google Fiber is being rolled out.  In reality pretty much everybody SHOULD have this kind of speed, but as long as there's no competition in the area they don't bother.  Austin now has 4 different companies in the "gigabit" game so they are all scrambling to get it done first.  Right now what I have is the fastest you can get on TWC but I'm sure once actual gigabit speeds start rolling out they'll boost speeds again.

That's pretty much how I've felt until lately.  It's amazing how much better their customer service and service in general is now that there is competition around.

That is how I still feel lol. Especially how Comcast bought out time warner so now it will be even worse.

Google fiber please come here. Why does google fiber have to be the only thing that gets speed and function like that with out having to pay an arm and a leg for it?

I thought I had it good but your running triple what I've got.  Good deal for you!  I'd love to see those speeds by me but there's Comcast and AT&T, so Comcast has no motivation to speed up any more since AT&Ts top end is like 45mbps down.
