Interesting, didn't know GameStop offered cash for trades.  Don't ever remember the local ones offering that as an option.

Meh, yeah they always offer cash but you would be stupid to take it if your going to continue to game. The difference from cash to store credit was is a good amount.

Seems to me that Gamestop is finally starting to feel the heat of the digital age.  They need people to come through their doors and this is one way to try and get people back.

Same here.  I don't have a need for discs cuz I don't take my games anywhere else and rarely do I trade anything in.  I've also seen that they're really getting into used devices too (phones, tablets, etc).

to diversify or to die...that is the question.
