With the damage numbers popping up every hit I don't know how someone would not figure this out in their first fight, but good info for the virgin guardian.

It took Zak, Kenny and I a little bit in the alpha to figure this out but since then we've mowed a couple of these things down.

I probably took down ten of them in the explore area where it spawns every 30 minutes.  Couldn't quite do it solo, but took it down with just a couple of us before.  Often there were randoms around to help.

I was out doing patrols for a bounty and the walker dropped at 9:45.  Just FYI instead of at the top of the hour and half hours it may be set to 15 and 45.
