Call of Duty Clan Wars: Schedule Update

Attention! Please be advised that we’re postponing the next set of wars to the following week (Jun 18th – June 23rd).

Diamond Division: Greenland

Diamond Clans must brave the cold of Greenland. Battle commences over a three-day period, beginning Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd.

I hate that they wait til the last minute to announce this kind of stuff.   


If you want to participate in the next clan war please reply below and be specific as to when you will be online. We are trying to be a little more organized when in comes to the clan wars. We are looking for at least a 2 day commitment from anyone wanting to be on the roster. That does not mean 2 full 4 hour days but at least a good portion of 2 days. Obviously the more you can be online the better but we do realize things come up and RL responsibilities come first. 

I will be setting up team captains for each day and two captains if we have enough for a second lobby. Team captains will need to provide a way to communicate preferably a cell # or through the smartglass app. This way if someone gets online, drops, or we need to change tactics it can be done quickly. We all know that messaging through XBL can be a royal pain. I will be posting team captains and the best way to contact them once I know who will be online when.

In the past we have had complications with party chat. To avoid any complication this go round I suggest we either do not use the party chat system or use Skype instead.

Another goal for this clan war is to keep the lobby time to a minimum.

Also having people on the 2nd team with the map pack will help as the Invasion playlist should have plenty of people in it since its so new.


Here is a general game plan for the upcoming clan war

-Start-

Because we don't know what the game modes will be, we will be going after the game mode that is worth the most points

-Middle-

Bank wins or capture nodes; preferably only playing nodes that are not currently owned by other clans. We will have to be dynamic with our tactics and constantly scanning for open nodes. This is where already having multiple classes set up will come in handy as we need to spend as little time in the lobbies as possible.

-End-

Bank wins, knock off other clans, cap nodes if possible; We need to make sure that we are holding nodes at the end of each night. If that means not banking wins and playing defense then so be it.

I will be there all night Friday and Saturday and the last 2 hours of Sunday.

I think i will make the 20th and the 22nd, the full amount, i'll have to check on the 21st, but i'll make 2 of the 3.

All in for Friday and Sunday.   I have no idea about Saturday yet.

I'll be there all 3 days for the 4 hour time slot. Assuming it's the 10-2 eastern slot again.

I may now miss Sunday but will be on fri, sat. I have an opportunity to go to the beach Sunday-Monday. I'll post here when I know if I'm going,or not.

Im gonna sit this one out, I'm a no go on Friday 50/50 on sat and sunday
