Toddler Horror Game 'Among the Sleep' Coming to PS4, Morpheus

I am not a big believer in VR just yet.  Like Kinect I don't think it has come far enough yet to be truly ground breaking but can you imagine atmospheric horror games in VR?  Outlast was scary enough.  I'm not sure I could have handled it in VR.  Fortunately it will also be available as a standard game so we can turn on the lights if we get scared lol.

The Zombies can already hear noises in your living room through Kinect while playing Dead Rising 3...I tried it, it works.

I haven't played Outlast yet (have it downloaded and watched the trailer yesterday but I didn't feel like scaring the crap out of myself) but I did read about this one on the PlayStation Twitter feed and this sounds like a sweet game.  All you have is your footy pajamas and your teddy bear. 

From what I've read, it seems like this will be a true work of love so I don't expect the devs to release it until they feel it's absolutely PERFECT.  I guess it started out as a class project and them became a Kickstart project and now they're trying to finish it up and get it out for release.  If I remember right they raised almost a 1/4 mil in Kickstart.

Ewww... I usually get discouraged when devs talk about not setting release dates until a game is perfect. The game ends up falling behind in technology, needing to be remade, eventually falling behind in core gameplay, finally launching, and being a bust.

I really hope that doesn't happen here!

I don't know if my assessment is accurate but based on it being a school project I'm inclined to believe it may be true.
