Re: Watch_Dogs: Welcome To Chicago
Just pre-ordered my copy at GameStop. I was going to try doing it digital with them but they're not sure if the release will be 12:01 am EST or PST or somewhere in between. Also, they said that PS4 had issues with digital DL for MLB The Show and people weren't able to play the game for a while after it released. I figure I'll give them a couple games under their belt before I do the digital one, don't want to have to deal with possible issues and not being able to play it for a while.
Here's some other reasons why I went with GameStop was for the pre-order bonus content (above and beyond the PS4 bonus content):
-exclusive SP mission
-ATM hack bonus (rumored to be double money from hacks)
-investigation bonus (don't know what this is)
Also, if needed, they'll be offering one day only (May 27th) 12 mo. PS+ for $10 off with purchase of Watch_Dogs (yes, that's for $39.99!!!). They tried to get me to buy the season pass too, but I'm thinking I might wait on it for now.
For those interested, the season pass offers:
-$19.99 price (25% off individual DLC price)
-new mind bending game mode (dunno what this is)
-additional weapons, missions, and outfits (a given)
-an exclusive outfit and gun
All in all, I'll be playing off a disc, but I should be on by like 12:30am EST and it will be glorious!

Re: Watch_Dogs: Welcome To Chicago
Man! I am still on the fence for this one. On one hand I want to get it and play with Puppet on some co-op/MP but on the other I just don't know I need another game right now. If I get it I would love to try out the Digital Day 1 DL so I need to hurry up and make a decision.
Anyone else in the clan planning on getting it? PS4 or X1? Just looking to gauge general interest.

Re: Watch_Dogs: Welcome To Chicago
UPDATE: Ubisoft sucks. As I was looking around today and I find that Watch Dogs will not be available for Pre-DL as it is against Ubisoft policies. That sucks. Well at least I don't have to stress about getting it right away now. Looks like I am going to wait for reviews to decide.

Re: Watch_Dogs: Welcome To Chicago
I've been kind of on the fence myself but I need a new game and I don't see getting anything else for quite a while so might as well get Watch_Dogs. With ESO getting the boot WD is really the only game that I'm even remotely interested in right now.

Me too. If had not been procrastinating I would have probably just pre-ordered the other day and assumed pre-DL. Fortunately me extra digging saved me.

Played a couple hours last night but I probably won't be able to get back to it until the weekend. I'll post up my first impressions then, but from what I've played so far I'm not disappointed.

Totally forgot about this game.
Knee-deep in beer and barbecue for the last few days. Will D/L and see if it's what I think it should be.

I think I'll be buying this for the wife. I don't have enough time to invest in the game right now but I'll probably go on a few rampages across the city.

This clip alone has put me over the edge. I love stuff like this. I'll be starting my download when I go home for lunch and will be playing tonight.
