Xb1 adapter is MINE

so got lucky as f#ck today  walmart did not even have it yet  neither did the gamestop(i asked do any in town have it they say no) i go to normally  so was like f#ck it ill go to my bank and put some cash on my card and order it online 
well there is one more gamestop right by my bank  and i was like just let me make sure   the manager(female)  was like no we did not get any  i was like well that suck  started to turn around and she was like hold up we got 1 in for me   but i really dont need it right now let me sell it to you  so boom got it ... paid a little more then i would if i ordered right from MS

whats inside the box?
you get the adapter 
a little wire thats 2.5mm male  to a 2.5  female
and the cable you need to plug into your controller to the xbox to get the update ( my charge and play worked as well)

so if your old headset did not use just a normal 2.5mm jack keep in mind you will need to get the cable for that. i had a 2.5mm to a 3.5mm laying around and works great on my tritton AX pros

Notice if your using the headset and you have the charge and play on it makes stretch untill you unplug the play and charge.
other then that cant wait to use my old headset again tonight in cod kids will cry !!!

I want to 4 different stores today- GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and Wal-mart, and didn't find one adapter.   I'll be going Kinect or silent mode again tonight for the clan wars.

I'm not getting the best of feedback from those with the adapter using last gen headsets. I think the hack-job works better, and I'll be repairing mine.

I still couldn't find the adapter today, so I ended up buying the TB XO fours which comes with the adapter and the headset is made for the One. I'm going to try it out and will let you all know how it works (or maybe you all can tell me how it works with the in-game chat).

At first impression with the XO fours I am impressed. Works really well, good sound, good mix with the voice and game audio. I did a clip and listened to my voice back and it wasn't overpowering or "crackling". I also like how the surround sound is no simulated from the Xbox One, and you don't need an encoder or mix amp. Very cool stuff!

@ miller   my Tritton AX pro +  were a total fail  they worked great for me but every one that was in my party was saying to them it was like i was screaming into my mic...

my brother had is old Turtle Beach X41 which i traded my tritton so he could use them as his new pc mic  
and the turtle beaches work great 

 i do think if you  can do they hack job  i would do it  they do seem to work out better

I ordered mine at the local game stop, be getting it in 5 days.t   When I got home Itried lloggingin and it will not log in.  AApparently some are having the same issue issue.   Microsoft is is wo rking on the issue.  SIGH

I picked up some XO O7s. Decent headphones. Much better than my old trutle beach dx11 that were being held together in four different places with duct tape.

There were about 10 Gamestops within 20 mins of me that had them available on the first day, I didn't know they were so hard to find. I'll grab one sometime, I miss my Turtle Beach headphones

I read on the Internet that the trittions,astros,razer, and new polks are all having issues with the chat. Ther is supposed to an update for the adapter coming that will suppose to fix the problem. I also read that the adapters was contract out and made by turtle beach, which are the only headset that aren't having any issues.  Xb1 fail imo

Well there you go. I think the problem is on the powered headsets with an active mic (that you hear the feedback in your ear like a phone). That seems to give off some amped voice power.

I haven't kept up, is there a regular XBO headset out yet of decent quality? IE TurtleBeach Xbox One's

The XO Fours I have works fine. I still think it is a bit pricey at $100, but it comes with the adapter and works well.
