New to Forza but here to play

Alright everyone, i got Forza for christmas. I've never played any of the forza's. So once my internet gets hooked up whoever is down to play with a noob like myself i'll be ready lol i'll be doing lots of offline play and training at first to get the hang of it. Any tips or tricks y'all have send em my way lol.

You're in good hands. There's tons of guys in the clan that are experts in making and driving cars in that game and all of them are more than willing to help anyone out.

Definitely play through a lot of the event stuff first. That will help a lot. Throw me a message whenever you see me on and I can tell you anything you need to know about the game, improving, tuning, etc.

Husker's is the only one that consistently beats me.  It's ridiculous.  Everyone is racing on easy with full assists and using the rewind, right?

I do use rewind occasionally because drivatars are mean.  Otherwise I use no assists and race on the second hardest difficulty I think.   I haven't been on my Xbox in a while.  I need to get on and participate in some more races.

Welcome to Forza 5.  I'm on almost daily between 9pm and 12am central.  I've raced so many online matches I flipped my player level back to 1 last night.  If you've got questions, I'll either have the answer or show you where to get it.  I'm always happy to share info if you ask for it.

I've all but given up on playing online on this game due to the douchebags that infest the MP races and I've finshed career mode (still have some bonus races but all the series are done).  I haven't played online a ton, but I've yet to play in a room that didn't have at least one a'hole ramming/wrecking on purpose.

You're right Husker, for the most part there is always one douchebag per race. No disrespect to S7 at ALL, but racing with the online wrecking machines has taught me how to navigate traffic.  From level 34 to 270, I've done online racing exclusively.  Its not all bad.  Thankfully, once you get up front, there's a whole lot of track between you and the wrecking crew.

Has there been any rumor to an S7 season yet?

Yeah, i tried some online and they would just straight up crash in to me throwing me into last place, with my skill level what it is, there was no way to catch up. I'm gonna stick to career and getting tokens and coins to get better cars, maybe when we all get together it will all be a little better.

It's MUCH better playing in a group of people you know.  There will be crashes, etc...but we know that it doesn't happen on purpose.  I don't mind getting turned/bumped/crashed if it's with people I know didn't do it on purpose.  It's the intentional crap that bothers the sh1t out of me.

Just got the game as well. First racing I have put any time into since Forza 2.
