My New Forza Toy Empty My New Forza Toy

Post by Lickwid Apex Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:16 am

Fanatec CSR wheel, pedals and shift kit landed Friday. I have the wheel mounted to the Playseat Alcantara (black) with the stock bolts. They lined up perfectly. The pedal set is attached using the clamp system. Downside to the clamp system is it has left scratches on the aluminum finish of the pedal set base plate. No biggie, I'm not trying to resell it. The shifter is sitting on the 2 rods that come with the set and thread the wheel base. It sucks. I'm going to have to fabricate something for both the shifter and the pedal set that will make them more stable.

The wheel is nice. The twin motors are breaking in nicely with my rear wheel cars being a little a$$happy on the track. The shifter is solid, but as stiff as it is, it shakes the wheel a little under hard shifting. I've only got the one angle for now. I may not take more pics unless someone wants them.

This one is for you Glock.

That's awesome, I've always wanted a set-up like that but I never did it. I has a wheel for my computer a while back but there was no resistance to it, so it was pretty lame.

Wow very nice. Glock is going to be drooling over that setup I know he has been wanting something like that for a while.

I think pretty much all of use controllers. I have a wheel but don't race the tournaments with it as it's not as good as the controller is for correcting spins and stuff when you get bumped.

d@mn! That is sick bro. Now you just need the 3 screen setup and you'll be all set! But seriously, that is awesome. I'm jealous.

3 more screens. It's 4 counting the rear view mirror.

Ridiculous setup though, I like the toy cars.
