Xbox One sales exceed one million in first 24 hours

    

The Xbox One, which launched in 13 different markets last night at midnight, has already been snatched up by over one million people in its first 24 hours of availability. That's $500 million.


The Microsoft Sales Trumpet announced the news in a press release past the break, which confirms these are consoles sold directly to customers – not to retailers. This figure also surpasses day one Xbox 360 sales, marking a milestone for the Xbox division at Microsoft.

That's pretty neat. And didn't PS4 do the same thing last week? Either way both are off to a good start.

yes it did also keep in mind sony did not release  in as many countrys as xb1 but still good to see both systems are off to a good start

Same.  Just bought a 2013 Chevy Sonic last month.

well I've got a kia, mazda, and a chevy... so that's 2 foreign, 1 domestic.

I know my Chevy was made in Michigan and over 50% of the parts in the USA.  It is more important to me to have one made/assembled here than whatever corp execs I make richer.

I only buy Chevy
