Ryse: Son of Rome Launch Trailer

I'm not so sure about this game which is why I'm getting it from Gamefly instead of straight up buying it, but I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen so far.  My only worry is that it will be too short.  There's already been talk about it only being 6-8 hours long and I'm not spending $60 for something like that.  Anyways, this trailer is pretty badass...

Yeah, I'm a bit wary of this as well.  I'm waiting to see what others think of the game.  Definitely not a game I'll be buying on day one.

Halo?

I wouldn't know about Halo.  Never bought any of them and last one I even remember playing was Halo 2.  Are the Halo campaigns that short?

They had very short campaigns, for the most part.

Do shooters ever have long campaigns? Especially MP-centric ones?

I'm concerned about the seemingly repetitive nature of the game. Slash, slash, QTE, QTE, etc. Looks great though, I hope the story is compelling.

There's 0 hours of campaign in Titanfall and everyone seems excited about that...

If the SP is good, then I don't care how long it is and tbh, I get the impression that the game is a lot more challenging when you up the difficulty.
