Microsoft Demo Code-Entry Via Kinect 2.0 On Xbox One

good i hate getting a new game and first thing i have to do is type in codes





One thing I hate about my Xbox 360 is that I use store bought top up cards for Xbox Live. Entering the code can be a bit of a fiddle, especially with the on screen keyboard and a controller to navigate it. Microsoft have a solution for this and now you won’t have to type your codes in at all.
Microsoft’s gaming front man Major Nelson uploaded a video to Vine to demonstrate the feature and how fast the  new Kinect camera can scan the Xbox Live code.
This might not sound much, but it is a feature you will come to appreciate. This could just be a taste of the extra features and benefits that will develop for the Kinect camera over the next few years.

Very cool entering codes can be a pain.

That is one of the really cool things the Kinect can do so far and this is coming from a guy that is NOT a fan of Kinect.

It's not often that I need to enter a redeemable code.  Only when I order from GameStop to get pre-order exlcusives (which is stupid), but it's still a pain to enter the code.  If I can just quickly scan a code instead of having to type it out, then I'm quite pleased with that.

Yeah, I will be using my tablet for the PS4.  Much nicer than in-game type pad but the scan code thing is even better.

Yeah I use my chat pad and Xbox glass app but still cool
