I got a few IK hand me downs from sticky last night and am now over 300k dps base and well over 400 buffed. I now carry 4 IK pieces. Now I just need a fire ring to roll worth a d@mn.

Very nice. I finally rolled a decent Hellfire ring for my Barb, but I did loose some resists. Resists seem to be really important in ML5.

lol, 900k+ for a Barb?  I'm able to clear M5 (not simple, but doable) with just over 500k buffed, haha.  That's just sick.

So, I obviously don't play this on console, but I'm interested:

Are you guys approaching a point where better equipment/stats is fairly pointless? Or are they planning on expanding the levels to provide a new challenge for the pros out there?

Sticky is.  With his gear he can pretty much take a nap while he's playing, lol.

Regarding expanding...

There will be a new expansion called Reaper of Souls that will be upping the max level to 70 from 60 along with adding a new character called the "Crusader".  New spells and weapons will be added to current classes and a new act (Act V) will also be added.  Also new game modes called "Loot Runs" and "Nephalem Trials" that are supposed to be challenging end game modes.

With all that said, it's only been officially announced for the PS4 on consoles, but I don't foresee it being exclusive to the PS4.

As far as I'm concerned if it comes out on the Xbox One AND I'm able to transfer my current characters over to it I'll be very interested.  If I have to start all over from scratch I think I'll pass.

Interesting. I always thought they should make D3 have no level cap but make the level curve exponential. That way you could always have something to shoot for.

as i feel right now with my wiz at 998k dps  i feel farming for her is pointless as thats really as high as she will get i do have a more power full wand that makes her DPS 1.1Mill  but i lose my life leech so i switch between the 2 ....

other classes i have i steel feel  equipment and stats  upgrades are out there....

i know the the expantion reaper of souls  the level cap is going up to 70   and there take the lid off  the paragon level so the max right now is 100 levels of paragon  come reaper there should be no limit...  Also from video i have seen there adding alot of new items and stats  were right now the normal for a 1 hander is anywere in the 1,000  to 1600 range in the video you see a 4,000 Dps  1 hander

there also adding a new class which is  a paladin so that should change it up alot i think

Honestly, I just like finding new gear. Even if 99% isn't an upgrade for my Barb, and he only does about 550k unbuffed and 700K buffed.

If anybody is up for some uber runs tonight I'll be on tonight.  Have 7 machines currently and will be running act 2 for 5 more keys to make 12 total.

No pics, but in the last few nights I've been able to get up to about 480k unbuffed on my Barb due to a better helm and an Echoing Fury with a socket.  It's too bad the Fury didn't have Crit Damage on it though, would have been a beast.  Still better than what I had though.

i have a dude wanting to trade all my DH gear for all His Barb gear might do it but my DH is what i use to Farm Xp so idk yet

Funny- looking at our PC Diablo 3 signature line, that looks like a terrible character now after playing the Xbox. 300-200K DPS- GTFO!

Righ!!!! lol  right now all my PC barb gear is on my  brother profile so he can level his barbs Para

but it is funny thinking with like 300k DPS  you were Beast pwning mp10

So  i found 2  upgrades for my wiz  (and dropped the double socket fail)


then traded the dude some of my DH gear for these

its by far the best amulet out there  i was saving my  demonic essence to craft amulets then got that and  now im like idk what to do with all that dam essence
