The Division — Companion Gaming Trailer
I'm not sure if I'll ever get into using the smart glass features all that much (who knows, maybe I will), but for those that do, this kind of stuff is amazing.

Looks pretty sweet but I guess I don't completely understand how it works with the smart glass. Are you moving with the controller and then using the smart glass like a PDA for your character?

No, the person using the tablet is a completely different person. For example, I can be playing on my console and you can join in the game on your tablet and provide support.S7 SockPuppet wrote:Looks pretty sweet but I guess I don't completely understand how it works with the smart glass. Cool idea. Have to see how it actually works when it gets released but it got some promise. But on a side note if I can play on a console or a tablet/phone most of the time I'm going to choose the console.

But what if you're on vacation and just want to get a little gaming in and don't have your Xbox with you? This is not just for when you are in your living room next to the console.S7 OC wrote:Cool idea. Have to see how it actually works when it gets released but it got some promise. Specialised apps currently being developed by the likes of Ubisoft also allow you to join mates playing console multiplayer via a tablet while riding the bus, on holiday, or wherever else in the world you might be.

I read the other post with the article on Smartglass and your response here and found both pretty informative, thanks for the info.
