Looks like an early retirement for me.
Apparently something is wrong with my F4 disc all of a sudden. I hadn't played since before my vacation but didn't have a problem before that. Other games work fine. I don't see any scratches or anything noticeable. That might be it for me until F5.

If that's true, that really sucks. I know where you could get a disc that's not being used, just talk to Wiggles.

If you have Gamefly or some place to rent (or even a friend to borrow it from), get it and install it to you HD. Then you only need the disc for access. I had to to this with the first Black Ops, as it got a big scratch on it and wouldn't load half the time.

Miller is right. I had to do the same with COD4. Disk was all scratched so I got a copy from GF, installed it and sent it back. Then just used my copy to authenticate and all was good.

Unfortunately I already have it installed to my hard drive so whatever is causing the problem on the disc is unfortunately where the authentication is, or something. I don't know, I'm not real happy about it, but at this point I'll just wait until F5.

You could also pull the old switch-a-roo with GF. Rent a copy and return your copy. personally I do not condone that type of behavior but people do it all the time. I do hate that we won't see you anymore this season. It won't be the same without you. I hope you can come back to us.

Nat a bad idea. I had a corrupt HD in a game once upon a time. Mine was saved game date. I lost 120+ hours of Oblivion too. Sad day, but it did fix the problem.

Sounds like my GRAW2 issue. There was never any fix. I eventually got a new console (when the Reach edition came out) and it worked there. Good luck in finding a fix. Delete it off the hard drive, clear the cache, and hope it works.

Tonight I'll try deleting it, clearing the cache, and re-installing and see what happens.

If it's like my issue was with GRAW2 a new copy won't help at all.S7 Coolhand wrote:I'm willing to let go of my copy if you want it.

Yeah, I'll see you guys (well not all of you) on F5 on the XB1, lol.
Oh, and Coolhand, thanks for the offer of the disc, but it's not that big of a deal. With F5 4 months away I'll just deal with it.
