Went ahead and pre-ordered a "Day One Edition"

I'm hoping the "Day One" is rare enough that people will be dumb enough to pay double for it on Ebay, lol.

I paid in full. I didnt see a deposit option.

i have pre ordered game there before and its alot like gamestop about how much you would have to put down


BUT i have never pre ordered a console so im not sure if its the same or if they will need the full thing

for you guys trying to save some money, open a new creditcard that will give you $100 back after you charge over $500,there are a bunch. charge the xbox and games only pay off the creditcard then cancel the creditcard.

Sign up for a Best Buy credit card and you can pay it off over 18 months w/o interest, it turns out to be about $30/month for the total. They explain it on the website when you look at the details for the preorders.

I'm waiting. I guess I'm just a cheap bastard, but I'm expecting an early price drop.

Just preordered my XBO day one edition from gamestop. They guaranteed my $100 deposit was enough to make sure I will get the console the night it launches. We will see if this company screws me over once again.

Yeah, I pre-ordered from Best Buy and it is the 'Day One' edition, so I'm expecting to pick it up on day one.  Otherwise I won't be a happy customer.

Ordered my Day One edition and Forza 5 from Amazon

So I found out that if you pay by Visa online with Best Buy they will re-authorize the payment every 7 days over and over until they ship the product.  This is causing a headache for my bank.  The girl on the phone said this is just how they do business and they won't take my money until they ship the product in case I change my mind.  I asked if I went into their store and slapped cash down on the counter if they would take that, and of course they will.  So, I am either going to cancel my order and just go pay with cash in person or I can go buy a gift card and then switch my payment method online to that gift card.

I ordered the Day one addition on amazon on the 11th and also picked up Madden, NBA Live, Watch Dogs and Call of Duty. Not a big battlefield fan so might wait to see how it turns out.
