Holy Crap! WTF just happened last night? This author really is a bastard and it's really true that nobody is safe. I can't wait for the apocalypse that should be the season finale.

Actually next seasons finale is the apocalypse, and then an apocalypse happens that kills off the apocalypse to become King Apocalypse... that is until someone else kills him and so and on and so forth.

I just watch that episode and was staring at the screen for like3 minutes after it ended. Wow i may just have to start reading the game of thrones books.

One of my wife's friends is reading the books and after each episode my wife is shocked by one thing or another and her friend is like, just you wait.

Seems like the end credit music has become kind of a signature for HBO series and it usually matches the vibe of each episode. This time it was silence. Brilliant

I personally would have found the red wedding to be a good midway point for the book with the overall events that play out in the entire book. But I also understood the power in the last scene that was provided plus it really opened everything up to speculation ( if you haven't read the books ) on where things will go next.

I agree, figured there would be a little more to this episode. At the same time they just gave us a huge blow to the heart last week so i guess it was ok to tone it down a tad.
