myself i just ordered the digital deluxe version as i wanted the d3 queen of blade wings which comes out to the same price as the normal hard copy version

I'll be getting it. Hellbats look broken as f#ck though, so I hope they nerf those a bit.

SC2 never gets updated, so they'll probably stay broken.

for it never getting updated i sure had to patch a sh1t ton tonight XD

they update it like every 2 or 4 months and hell yeah im picking this up

There has been frequent balance changes throughout. Sure, they're not every week but it takes time to gauge the effects on the meta-game. Look at Infestor play from a year ago, it was almost non-existent - now they're being nerfed because it turns out they're actually pretty d@mn good.

Blizz have actually really stepped up their game as of late - I think partly due to the rise of LoL. If they get their asses in gear vis-a-vis the map pool, then we'll be good to go.

Having OP units is good, it adds to the skill of the game, so long as there is a reasonable counter.

@skand: Yeah, It's basically a pre-install of HOTS and it adds global play, clan support, etc. to WOL - basically making them run off the same client so they don't have to support two different ones. Having been on today, so no idea if the changes are already in there, or they'll go live with HOTS.

makes sense, i still cant get the d@mn hots beta to actually work so ive just been vs hard ai...wasnt too big into actual mp / league play in wol

I loved the MP - but I used to get too concerned about my W/L, rather than care about actually getting better and playing for fun. Some times I'd think, 'I've just won the last 6 games', better quit whilst I'm ahead and just play vs AI.

The AI options in HOTS actually looks a lot cooler though. Using actual, decent build orders, getting early expo's and whatnot.

Be nice not to be able to practice builds against something other than 1 base all-ins.

I was being extremely sarcastic there. The only game I've played much that gets more balance updates is LoL

Ah, right. Didn't catch on because Blizz have always been fairly relaxed about letting 'still being figured out'.

I'm just glad 'Toss have some new toys, tbh. Have you seen how powerful the void ray is now? Shame the carrier is still sh1t.

Ahh, I have no experience with WoW so I did not know.

And Epic, as a devout terran I can firmly say that the evil Blizzard corporation is definitely out to get our supply depots with the evil void ray.

I was just playing some quick matches the other day. I have no idea in what order I need to build stuff anymore because I've been playing custom games as of late.

You have to either be a) kidding, or, b) terrible.

Put four of them in a medivac and drop them into a mineral line. See how terrible they are then...

I still need to do another playthrough of the Wings of Liberty campaign, so I'll probably pick it up after I'm done with that. Heart of the Swarm looks like it will be fun.
