Halo Practice Today

Throwing out a reminder that Halo 4 practice is today, 12/06/2012 at 9PM EST.

Can't wait to see you all there! Hope you all had a good Turkey day, time to get back in to some halo epic-ness.

Same here. I did finally cash in my double xp matches on dewxp, so time to do some leveling!

That was a fun practice last night. My top moments:
Backing up into Tico with Ghost, betraying him
Ninja/Communio betraying me with Ghost. I was about 15 feet in front of him (not even running around) and he decided to boost into me after watching me kill someone for some reason. lol
Watch Steel lose the $5 bet during King of the Hill match.
Free and I trying to escape base with flag on Mongoose and died from a bombardment of sticky grenades.

Well AirCav betrayed me about 10 times on Griff Ball. I thought I was playing with JWriter since he always shoots me in the back.

Good times! You want to know the secret to whether practice was good? People stay AFTER the normal hour and even when it's a little after people that had to leave for work were willing to run "one more game". That's the sign that everyone had fun. When I left the lobby the rest of you were still there talking about what happened. Proof that fun was had by all!

I would have stayed on if it was a Friday, but by the time those Thursday practices end, I need to start heading to bed.

Yup, great practice everyone! See you all again for the next one. I'll be on or around my Xbox so if you need someone for co-op or MP throw me a message on XBL, I'll get it even if I'm offline.

Really sad I missed it. Friend came into town so we hung out playing co-op offline. I'm hoping to make the next one. I will be online tonight - not sure what I'll be playing, Halo or CoD. Or poker tourny?

Updated original post. Halo practice is today. Not sure if I'll be on due to family arriving sometime tonight.

Played a few games last night. Felt weird, stopped after two-three.
Will try to be there tonight. I need to play this a lot more to get a good feel for the game. Changed my controller to bumper-jumper from Fishsticks. Still not really comfortable while playing. Also noticed Im not as in tune with the maps or know them as well as I did on Reach, etc. This one still just too new?? Or do I really just not play enough?

The maps flow a lot different. Reach was still similar to 3 so everyone was used to the map style. Halo 4 (to me) plays a lot different and has to be approached slightly different. I'll go over it in practice tonight.

Last minute plans tonight w/ the wife-to-be, my apologies fellas. I'll make every effort to get back before practice ends...

I had to get off early. Family was coming and I needed to make sure everyone had a place to sleep.
