Forza Wheel Suggestions Empty Forza Wheel Suggestions

Post by Reza WRX Sun Oct 21, 2012 7:54 pm

I'm contemplating on buying a wheel for Forza, but literally have no idea which one I should go for. I don't want to spend a ton of money, especially if I end up not liking the transition, but can someone suggest a middle of the line wheel for me? Not sure how many people use a wheel when they race, but I'm sure at least a few of you must. Thanks in advance.

If you do a search on this website you will find a thread or two about this. I got the microsoft wheel used and it is fun to use but for tournys I have gone back to the regular controler - I find the wheel isn't as responsive and I can do better with the sticks.

Yeah, I don't use a wheel myself so I am no real help. I hear the M$ force feedback wheel is pretty decent for middle of the road price. A few of the guys here use the wheel, hopefully they will chime in.

My RL friends that have the MS force feedback wheel really like it. Just make sure you have a good place to use it.

I had the MS force feedback wheel, it was useful but a little uncomfortable for long rides. You'll feel it in your forearms and shoulders for sure.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but if you can afford it and are looking for the best, then the Fanatec CSR Elite could be what you are looking for. Two people I've played Forza with love this wheel and all of it's goodness (including pedals, shifters, etc...). I have to say I am jealous of both of them.

Click on "Products" then on "Forza Motorsport CSR Elite" on the left hand menu.
