Anyone on Xbox Live

Can someone check and see if splinter cell is out on demo, just got a e-mail but it didn't say if it was PC or 360 or whatever

Yeah it was good and has me a none splitercell fan excited for it to come out. I was going to buy it for the Ghost recon demo but now that I know how it is going to be. Short Demo but lets you get a look into how the game will play and look.

Yea it was short. I think the mechanics are sweet. Glad I got it payed off and can't wait for the demo as a ghost recon fan also.

controls took some getting used too, but it looks nice and shiny. I didn't get to play much though

The amount of times i've used that EMP pulse by accident is ridiculous. Stupid X button.

And this is why I dislike the game. It used to take 5+ minutes just to clear a room, now it takes 5 minutes to clear a bunch of rooms and 20-30 enemies

Blame the fans Garrett people didn't like the slow pacing, it was a major complaint from the community Ubissoft just fixed it lol.

They already have GR and RS for fast-paced action. The whole d@mn point of Splinter Cell was sneaking around slowly, stalking the enemies for a few minutes at a time just to come up with a strategy for taking out an entire room without gunfire or alarm. This was the ONLY game of its kind (MGS can't touch the old SC games in terms of stealth gameplay), and now it's just another game added to the overfilled sea of shooters.

Ubi is really letting me down with this one. GR1 (+IT) was possibly my favorite shooter ever, followed closely by RS3 (+BA), and SC was one of my favorite series ever.

GR(+IT) > GRAW
RS1,2,3 > RS:V
SP1,2,3 > SC:C

I'll agree on the R6 but I want to see Conviction in full before I condemn it.

As I said before, I'm not saying it's a bad game and I'll still probably pick it up, but it is NOT Splinter Cell. If the SC tag wasn't there, I'd probably be going nuts over this game, but instead I'm just sitting here wanting something similar to Chaos Theory or even Double Agent. The one thing keeping my hopes up is the co-op since it seems more stealth-based than the story.

But you are the group of players that they are focusing on. They want more users and more money from this game and by making these changes they will get it. I am way more interested in this game from the demo. I did not like the splinter cell series. I did love both Graw games and both R6 vegas games. They know those games made money and if they can attract the interest more people by altering the game then they will.

OC's right though they just want more people to be interested not just the fans but newcomers as well and if OC's interested it musst be working lol. I liked it the demo personally but I understand wanting the old formula to cause I loved it I wish they still had the same MP from Chaos Theory and DA mixed lol.

It still plays somewhat like the old one. I mean you have to sneak up to a foe first and kill him with your hands before you can hit Y and shoot everyone in the room. But on the other hand you can shoot someone then have the other guy(s) in the room investigate where you shot from then you can sneak around and shoot them. To some degree you have lost the sneaking ability but it still retains it to some degree. Also this isn't an agent no more but a guy out for revenge so look at it in that aspect.
