Summers End Throw Down! C-c-c-combo Tourney!

That's right everyone, we're going to have ourselves a good old fashioned throw down... with a twist!
The event starts this friday at high noon and extends until Noon next friday.
Proof Required (Screenshot, cell phone pick, save the replay, leaderboard score from date range)

Track: Laguna Seca
Start: Noon - 8/31
End: Noon - 9/7
Rules: Fastest lap time. Clean, Dirty, doesn't matter in this race. It's a brawl.

Car: 2004 Volkswagen Beetle
Car Class: B
Track: Laguna Seca
Laps: 25
Start: Thursday - 9/6 - 10:00 PM EST - Sharp
Rules: LNS (aka full contact destroy everything racing)

--------------Final Scoring--------------

Placement 1 + Placement 2
Lowest Score wins
(ie. if you get 6th in the week long race, and 1st in the battle royal your total will be 7)

Being that it's a throwdown as long as atleast 1 other person shows I'll be happy. Have fun cutting that corner.

I will definitely try to make Part 2 - may do Part 1 as well.

Just do a quick lap and that'll put you above anyone else that doesn't do the time trial part.

This b class beetle is this going to be a some one makes one throws it in the garage so we all use the same car or everyone makes individual tunes

Everyone makes their own tunes, or uses one from the garage. I'll be putting mine in there, feel free to use your own tune.

Well, I might be able to do the time trial but I work Thursday nights now so the earliest I'd be able to do anything would be like 11-11:30 pm EST and even then I'd have to be up by 6am for work the next day. Might have to pass on this one and I'll probably miss this season of Forza if we keep it on Thursday nights.

I'll probably participate in this. More than likely, I'll just auto-upgrade my car to B and race with default tuning because I'm horrible at upgrading/tuning. I just need to make sure I have my OP bumpers equipped for the second part.

I will probably be on sometime tonight to check out this B-Class monster and maybe even put up a few laps.

I'd be down to switch the night or bring back the LNS tournys - you are one of the guys I can actually compete with.

Friday night would probably work better. While I'm playing store manager in RL I'll be working all days except for Thursday nights and like two Saturdays (half day) a month until sometime in November.

Mayhaps the discussion of the next season belongs in it's own thread? This events date is unrelated and set in stone.

I have a car built, painted, and tuned. I put up 1 lap just get my name on the board. I will be on racing and tweaking all this week. I should be able to make it for the live race on Thursday as well.

Actually, the proof is there Forza n00b. Take a look at OC's pic. Notice the triangle symbol next to his time? That indicates a penalty. Now look at mine... Clean lap b1tch.

PS: You can set a lap time at the tourney.
Obvoiusly it won't be a spectacular lap time, given the nature of the tournament. Better than nothing.
