S7 Big League - new live-draft fantasy football league

I have an interview for an internship I've been looking to become a part of in the morning tomorrow, so it looks like I'm not going to make the draft time. I'd rather not stay up late and risk missing the interview or not putting my best effort into it. I'll just go with whatever the auto-draft comes up with I guess.

Pretty happy with my team. I know there was mention of people wanting to poach my QBs. I won't entertain offers for Rogers but I might be willing to deal Rivers if someone wanted to make an offer.

I was wanting to make the draft, but having to get kids up for school plus work, didn't think it was a good idea. I spent a couple of hours on my rankings and don't think my team would've turned out much different by looking at the draft results. So I'm pretty happy and ready for a great season.

I had been eyeing Rivers, but historically both he and Freeman have done about the same as my backup QB.

I'll put up a vote next year for day and time of the draft - I picked that one because I thought the very late time would allow more people to make it, but it might have been a little too late.

It was a quick draft. I didn't mind the time it started.

I've not been able to do much with my crappy team, lol (that's what I get for missing draft), but I do love this game note from this weeks game.

That is a good recap note there - makes me feel a little worse knowing people aren't even playing their best and still beating me every time. I'm getting stomped!

Puppet seems unstoppable, but two of our newer guys (and Atrum) are on his heels. Grats to Chippy for completing 50 moves before the midpoint in the regular season - that is a record for my leagues, but seems to be working out for him. There are still a lot of weeks to be played - good luck to everyone with their remaining 7 regular season matchups!

I complete forgot to manage this league, watch out from here on.
I actually had no one in my Tight End spot, and players not on the bench that had Bye weeks.

Should be interesting to see how it goes from here. Looks like I'm up against puppet this week. Time to tie it up I suppose.

Myself and Wiggles have been on winning sprees, taking over the top of the field. Puppet has finally fallen from grace and is in 2nd. This week could potentially turn in to a 3 way tie for 1st. I'm against wiggles and have the majority of my starters out for their bye week.

Maverick appears to have had an unlucky bout, as has cryptik. Chippy and Skipit are looking to pass them up to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Coolhand and Dark Agent have both been on a rough streak. It's going to take them going undefeated for the rest of the season to make playoffs. Coolhand is definitely still in easy striking range, but this week will have a BIG influence on if he makes it or not.

And racecar... well everyone has a season where they lose every game.

It is worth noting that Chippy has nearly 70 trades. Will his 'swap out your entire team every week' strategy work? Time will tell.

Yeah, I had a rough week this week. I lost in two of my three fantasy leagues, the Bears lost, and Cutler got injured leaving Campbell as QB. Not a good footba week for me. Only good thing was that MSU didn't lose... only because they didn't play.

So we had quite an interesting week! Wiggles pulled even with me for 1st place, as expected. My starters had bye's and he's on a massive hot streak. More interesting was Dark beating Sockpuppet to put him MUCH closer in the running. The middle of the pack is still in striking distance and literally anyone could make it in to the playoffs. If #9 can beat the one of the seasons top contenders, the playoffs will get crazy.
On top of that there is a 4 way tie for 5th, with DarkAgent looking to catch up with them this week. Keep on eye on this coming week. There could be some massive placement changes.
Only Wiggles and myself are in the playoffs for sure, the other 4 spots are all up for grabs!

Another rough week for me with football. Bears got raped and so did my fantasy teams.

I hate the yahoo mobile app. My team has gone down the drain lately, I still don't know how to read these stupid projections...

I only use the mobile app for lineup changes when I know there's someone that I need to switch out and to check scores when I'm away from my comp, but generally I don't have any problems with it.

So Racecar (Vanna Bulldawgs), Agent (Daddy), Cryptik, and Maverick are eliminated. Great season guys - they will be looking for redemption next season. I slipped past them to catch the last playoff spot - sorry Mav! After a strong start Cryptik and Maverick both hit rough patches and slid just out of contention. Skipitofriskito (Cleveland Steamers) also made a comeback in recent weeks charging up the board to tie up with Chippy.

Kinda weird that we didn't play 14 games, but I guess that means you don't use Week 17 when some of the good players are benched to save them for the playoffs in RL. Good luck to everyone! Hmm, didn't realize until now that I had the top team for points for.

Yeah it was a very interesting season so far. I'm definitely glad for the bye week.
