S7 Fantasy Football Season 5 (Competitive/Small League).

Someone must De-Throne Coolhand!

If you haven't played my leagues before, there are only 8 teams. I also only have 5 players on the bench. Few teams and a small bench mean there are always some decent players out there on the waiver wire. This keeps it competitive all year long, as big injuries don't necessarily mean your team is shot. Also 8 teams means you play everyone twice, and the the top 4 go to the playoffs with the FF season ending before the regular football season reaches it's last week (so you are not stuck with subs or players only playing half a game.).

Currently I have the live draft set for Sunday Aug. 31st at 8 pm. EST. It's the weekend before the season starts (first game is on a Wednesday or Thursday of course to throw everything off) so that you know who is injured form the preseason and who has made the starting lineup. I can change it for whatever fits, I just picked late Sunday as most people are home then. That's the only thing we need to decide "early" as Yahoo only has so many slots open for live drafts.

Let me know if you need an invite. As mentioned before, its a small roster and they key to winning this league is to be active (I guess that's the key, I lost badly last year so maybe you should ask Luke).

Matt, has this league filled up?  I was hoping to get an invite since I was in last year but I haven't gotten anything yet.

I haven't been on the site since setting it up, so I'll have to log in later and see how many spots are left. If anyone else needs an invite- let me know.

After taking the W for both this league and the big one in 2012 I had to give everyone a chance for a year. Might have to sweep things again this time around

That league is full now.  Anyone who wants can join the big league though - we really need more teams in it.

Sorry I wasn't able to get everyone in. That's the bad thing about such a small league, but Coolhand's big league is there to get everyone together. Should be a good season.

So was this Auto draft or Live Draft? I don't play on Yahoo Sports alot, but got on to draft just while ago and not seeing anything?

The Yahoo servers crashed. It should automatically be reset to 11:15 eastern soon.

or now...I don't know what they're doing. Their Twitter feed is confusing.
