Re: PC Wars
well when i had a good paying job i had nothing to do but bump money into my rig after upgrading everything to were i want it i started working on lights.
then i got into a pc building contest and took 2nd place =)
thanks so far nothing has really pushed it to it limit yet
BF3 on extreme is the only thing thats made it run hotter then normal

It is pretty tasty still - the benefits of buying very good parts. Tbh, I'm even contemplating holding off on the new rig for another year or two and instead spending the money on a nice Samsung 3DTV & Blu-Ray home cinema kit instead...plus an extra monitor so I can go dual.

Re: PC Wars
You boys and your toys! I'd love to have half the crap you have but I just don't play comp games enough to justify it and even if I did have the hardware I probably still wouldn't.

I'm in the same spot. Current setup is enough for what I do for now.

Yeah, if I need to do some cpu intensive work stuff at home, I can just VPN/remote into my workstation and let that take the strain...saves all kinds of hassle with domain configs, cas/rbs, routing, etc. too.
I've not tried BF3 since installing this GPU yet, tbh, not tried BF3 with an overclock yet either, and MP BF3 was the only thing that was overly taxing, so I'll have to test that out at some point. Not that I give a sh1t, really. SC2 all the way.
