COD4 Throwback night- This Friday! (5/4 @ 2100EST)
We are kicking off our first monthly Throwback night with the Original Modern Warfare Game- Call of Duty 4. Gaming will start this Friday night at 9 EST (or earlier if you want to get on and party up) and will run until Midnight or whenever. It’s kind of open, but this is a chance to get back together and play some of our older and most favorite games. It may be a long time before these games make it back to rotation, so be sure and join up if you have been wanting to play. I will be giving away a prize from a drawing of who all shows up for COD4 if the turnout is good enough to warrant it. Also, there is talk of a poker tournament after.
Remember- this is a new monthly series, and on the first Friday of every month we plan on resurrecting some of our old favorites and getting the old gang back together for some fun. Don’t miss out!

Like I said, if yer playing later than like 11-11:30 EST I might be in for some games. Hopefully there will be people willing to play past midnight. Now that I think about it, I think I'm back to having no weaps or anything because I prestiged all my COD games for MW3 before that dropped. We'll see.

I had a great time playing until I got dropped from XBL and couldn't get back on. Not sure if my internet was being douchy or if it had something to do with that hacked COD 4 map but I tried a couple times to get going again and wasn't able to so I fell back on a couple hours of Witcher 2.
I forgot how much fun some of those old maps are and I'd really like to see IW release some of them as DLC for MW3. If I remember right, one or more of the COD 4 DLC maps was from like COD or COD 2, why not do the same with COD 4 maps for MW3? Anywho, I still had fun, even though I only got to play like 4 or 5 maps and I was using stock classes, due to my prestiging all of my COD games for tokens before MW3 came out.

Good times last night. My mic failed the first bit, and I was in and out taking care of the kids and such, but it was still fun to get some games in (even when I was getting my ass handed to me by being on the opposite team). I really think it's the maps that make that game so great, and I also wish they would bring out a "classic" map pack with some of the best.

That small map was great. I have never spawned throwed a nade, died, spawned, died, spawned then got a grenade kill. All in three seconds.

I never got to play shipment, and was looking forward to that one
This is who all I had noted that played COD4 at some point last night-
Ryloth
Coolhand
Agent
Dovahkiin
OC
Puppet
Sticky
Wonky
Xpert
Glock
Security Guy
Did Rowdy make it in too, or anyone else on during the time I was away?

Re: COD4 Throwback night- This Friday! (5/4 @ 2100EST)
Yeah, I didn't get to play some of my favorite maps (shipment, crash, broadcast, and creek) but I had fun for the few games that I did play. I remember playing COD 4 to death since it was pretty much the only game that I had at the time that other clan members had and I got so bored with the maps but now that I hadn't played it in a couple years they were "new" and fun again. Excellent idea on the retro night Miller. Depending upon how turnout goes for next month it might be worth drying to do it twice a month.

I need to know if that is a full list of who all showed and played so I can draw for the prize.

I think DarkAgent made it in just as I was leaving.
Re: COD4 Throwback night- This Friday! (5/4 @ 2100EST)
That list seems about right. He has DarkAgent, he just shortened it to Agent.

So I ran the Random number on my calculator until the last 2 digits were from 01-13, which took suprisingly long and the first I hit was .113, but I decline the prize. So I re-rolled and finally hit .501, which makes Ryloth the winner of the Throwback prize- 800 MS points. I'll shoot you the code via XBL. Congrats!
