Forza 4 - Stock Car Tourney (April 26)

S7R Forza 4 - IROC Stock Car Tourney

Think of this like the IROC Series, cars will be identical... If you are interested in joining in on the fun please post in thread below. It is recommended that you purchase one of the Stock Cars in game to customize for the event, however if you do not have the funds please contact me via XBL...

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a NOT Championship Tourney, however the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, April 26 2012
Time: Racing starts (normal time) 8:30pm (Eastern Time)
Car Class: R3-Class (Cars will be supplied)
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - Player based
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the S7R Stock Car Tourney Champion. Your overall placement will NOT go towards your season standing but results will be added to the Official S7 Forza Stats Thread. Forza: All Time Stats

PRIZES: Trophy in the Official Trophy Case and perhaps somethings else

#2 - LATE NIGHT SERIES RULES (Wrecking/P.I.T.-ing is allowed and encouraged... Just no "Big Bears" or driving the wrong way on the track)

"Big Bear" - Example: Driving into a corner full speed and just ramming into another car... NOT ALLOWED
"P.I.T. Maneuver" - Example: Turning someone sideways causing the driver to lose control... ENCOURAGED

Could you be a bit more specific about the car choice and upgrade/customization options? You suggest we purchase one of the stock cars for tweaking and customizing but then you say that setups will be handed out before the event. If you're handing out set ups, we really can't make any changes to the cars, right?

you can change the tune to fit your style more... if you prefer more break pressure, or stiffer springs...


if thats a foreign concept to people... i suggest you leave it alone

NOTE: The tuned cars are in the club garage.... NOW...

As for the tuning thing... these are straight out of the SlaveMunky Forza Tuning Calc... so if you use his stuff you should be good to go...

(Yes i know you can't change them this way... at this point modifications are NOT allowed... and you have a week to get used how they drive and talk to me about minor mods to it)

Gotcha. The way I understood the original details was that this was going to be like the IROC series where everything is the same except the paint and the driver, but I just wanted to make sure. I didn't want to set up a car and take a bunch of time to tweak and tune it only to have to use a stock or universal tune. Sounds awesome and I look forward to trying this out!

ALSO - If we do go with the IROC Style paint (made by me) I'm going to need to colors for everyone...

So please post up a top 3 colors of preference... and be specific...
EXAMPLES:
Dark Red (Crimson) v. Red v. Light Red (Pink)
Dark Blue (Navy) v. Blue v. Cyan v. Light Blue
Dark Green v. Green v. Olive Green v. Lime Green v. Light Green

(DO NOT PICK BLACK OR WHITE, as they will be used in every paint scheme)

An Example if we did go for the IROC paint style... (again just an example not finalized or anything)
