I'll have Madden tomorrow

I'll be getting the early release of Madden tomorrow. Anyone else able to have it tomorrow? Also I'll let you guys know how the finished game plays.

I literally have the money waiting. I don't care if the dog gets sick, the wife starts throwing up, the insurance drops us as we get to the door, and I wreck on the way...I have the extra $60 bones waiting. But I'm starting to seriously have second thoughts. Wondering if I like this as much as I think or it'll turn into another Madden disappointment. I'll think about it a bit more and let you know.

Know this, if I come...I'm bringing the Dolphins!!!

I actually think they're a sleeper team this year I'll probably use them a lot online. My only concern with this game is it seems the CPU breaks a sh!t load of tackles with this infinity engine. It's quite frustrating at times

I will be getting it Tuesday like the rest of the world lol Im pumped I'm just happy they got ride of the super LBs and I agree the running game is slacking this year. I feel a lot of people are gonna Focus on that more. I agree with the dolphins being a sleeper team I'm hoping Reggie bush has a good season I have in my fantasy league. Plus they have a good QB He needs to stay focus with that wife he has.

I have played the demo a bunch of times and the running game seems smoother to me this year. Passing is good but different. I'll be getting the game tues.

I tried downloading my copy this morning so I could get some games in before work but it won't be available until 6 pm. Oh well I'll just have to stay up all night to play

The connected careers is definitely different. It's a regular franchise mode with an RPG twist. There's two different paths to take one as a coach which is like your normal franchise and then there's your player path which is like Superstar mode but having the ability to call the plays for whatever side of the ball your playing. I do like it this way rather then the old franchise mode. Online franchise is the same way so if everyone wants to be a qb in the online franchise you can now actually have that competitive feel to see who truly is the best player in your league or vice versa coach wise

That sounds like some good news. I'm still on the fence on this but keep posting up thoughts and concerns.

I am going to be getting it, I downloaded the full version but have not played that much with it.

I thought the connected careers was going to be lame but it's actually one of the better features in the madden franchise. It really adds on to the replay value especially if your an acheivement whore.

When you create your player you choose everything from what he looks like (great option in paragraph below), draft position, player position and play style. All option effect what your team expects from you.

Take for instance if you wanna start a career as a qb. You'll create ur player now with the option of uploading your picture and actually having ur face in the game. The option of qb is great if you just want to control the offense. It's like superstar mode but more advanced with the ability to pick whatever play you want rather then 3 set plays to pick from.

With each game played you have weekly and yearly challenges earning you XP which can be spent to upgrade your player. Whether its spending it on arm strength to throw the deep ball or becoming a more clutch player in those tough moments.

I haven't really played as a coach yet but I know it's the choice to make if you want to control everything and I mean everything from scouting players throughout the season. Developing your players by spending XP for their development.

For those of you how I've played in online franchises it's no longer a straight forward season. They incorporated the preseason and practice. It almost feels more like how NCAA Road to Glory. Everyone can either be a player or a coach or some can be players while other be coach. It would be fun to see created wr go against a created DB. There's so many options to choose.

For those of you on fence I say rent but I feel you will not be disappointed

Also I forgot to add they now have free agent bidding so it's no longer the first person who see's someone to get em also you no longer have to wait for the commish to advance the league as long as everyone finishes their tasks it advances it self

Picked it up last night I know Kyle is starting a league but I was also wondering if S7 is going to make one Also?
