I know Klown that is huge if they pull it off. You literally had to change your timing from offline play to online play. Can not wait to play. Demo tomorrow should be great.

in the demo going to bean a batter or two to see the new warnings and ejection animation.

12:35EST: The #MLB2K12 XBOX demo was up but then came down. Trying to get in touch with Microsoft, stay tuned.

Just wondering what are the impressions so far for the demo?

Thinking about getting the MLB/NBA 2K12 combo pack ($69).
Not much talk here about the NBA 2K12. Is it a waste of my time and $10 bucks?

It's been years since I've had a basketball game but I've recently been thinking about getting one and picking up a combo pack where I can get nba 2k12 for only $10 sounds like a good idea. Might be a while before I pick up the games though, since I just got SSX and preordered ME3 for next Tuesday.

Yeah, I had a few NBA games recently but just lost interest especially after the late season start w/ millionaires arguing over more money. I didn't even bother to buy Madden this year (weird) but I'm just tired of the same 'ol thing. With baseball I know I'll play the entire year (still playing MLB 2K11) and an extra 10 spot won't hurt the wallet too much. May actually be fun to beat OC's Celtics with the revamped Heat once I get the hang of it!

Just a few impressions after a couple games.

1.) Check swings are fixed (used to be instant strikes)
2.) Hit variety has been very much extended
3.) Pitch rating changes are awesome, as well as the pitch info
4.) Outfield animations are very much improved
5.) Infield play is much smoother. I made some cool inside diving catches
6.) Love the new throw meter.
7.) Being able to change from original intended throw from 1st base >2nd base instead on the fly is nice when fielding.
8.) More difficult pitching over all..love a challenge.
9.) Batter's eye now tells the REAL pitch not just "fastball". More in-depth information everywhere!! (baseball geeks rejoice)
10.) Batter's hot zones given, always wanted to know my guys hot zone, not just when pitching but in the batter's box.

The game feels much smoother, outfield animations took a big step forward. Gotta get used to the new throwing meter I pulled the 1st basemen twice. Graphics are an improvement, infield animations improved and hit variety was great. Also, don't want to forget the catcher animation how he catches the ball and returns to pitcher. Didn't get any pop-up foul behind home plate, hope that animation is still there. +++ Pitcher ejections are in this year.

Tuesday Klown when I get it you and I have our annual day 1 show down Redsox vs Yankees

Yep! We'll be ready. Playing in Yankee Stadium this year. Last year you made me struggle through the weird stadium shadows in Boston and fly balls off the green monster (yeah, I remember). Not fun!

Pulled up MLB.TV last night and started watching last year's games (starting May 13)- Yankees/Redsox in Yankee stadium to get ready!!

Well...the time has finally come!!
I won't be on anything else tonight. I won't be accepting any chat invites, no time for dinner, max of two restroom breaks every 6 hrs., won't talk to my kids that are off in college, my wife will be completely ignored, all TV shows are out the window, and I won't wash the cars, clothes, dishes, or anything else (except my butt) today. NOPE! The time has come to face a heavy dose of sliders, slow breaking curveballs, and high fastballs.

Time to take my Yankees to the WS in the virtual world!

Bought and played it last night. Bought the combo pack saying what the heck, can't pass on a good deal. And the MLB2K team did a great job with this one. Loved every minute, and can't wait to play more (pesky things like sleep and work tend to get in the way). Overall very pleased, no issues and very little in terms of frame rate problems. Adjusted the sliders a bit and still got toasted! pitching is different, but so is the "timing" needed for batting. NBA2K was a real treat as well...I can see myself playing this a lot!

Laying down the challenge now. OC, I'm calling you and the RedSox out!

Well since someone was afraid to come out...I just loaded a game and beat the RedSox 5-1 with CC. Maybe the real OC will come out tomorrow night

I was just online for 4 and 1/2 hours. I sent you a party invite and never heard from you. Was definitely not afraid to come out.
