MLB 2K12

Okay ladies and germs,

The time is here. I know, I'm a few months early but just wanted to pass along any news I find and needed a spot to do so.
I will keep you updated (or bored) according to your likes and dislikes when it comes to baseball in the virtual world or real life.

I personally LOVE baseball and there is no offseason for me. I watch MLB.tv daily and simply turn off the scores and watch all 2,000+ games again. If you don't know the score, it's just like it's live

Sounds like this is going to be another solid installment of MLB 2K. I Might be late to the party though with ME3 coming out around the same time and I'm picking up SSX in late Feb. However, I will probably end up getting this so you should have a brother to toe the rubber against.

We barely get one article and already MLB 12 "The Show" has released videos? WTF??? Man.... anyway here goes:

Just posting what I read in GameSpot. If they're right, this may give "The Show" a run for the money graphically this time!! The only thing MLB 2Kxx has ever missed was the graphics. Once they pull that off it's over, because they have always had a solid baseball game. Sure a few glitches or bugs here and there but the actual baseball experience (pitching, hitting, even the commentary) they've always understood.

Pitching is not the only aspect of the game that 2K Sports is addressing for 2K12. 2K heard the complaints about past games and is looking to adjust everything that fans of the series have noted as being weak. Fielding is being worked on to ensure better throwing by outfield players. Also, player animations, specifically for the catcher, have been heavily worked on to ensure the players move as they would in real life. Lastly, the graphics engine and lighting have been tweaked to give a more realistic viewing experience.

I've never considered getting The Show. I used to be a fan of MVP Baseball, until I was blown away by the 2K series (and since EA lost rights to MLBPA). I really look forward to this next season. I'm curious as to what scrubs the Cubbies are going to throw out on the field. I think there might be a triple-A team in Chi town this year.

March 6th is almost upon us gentlemen!

The players are in Arizona and Florida now, Manny is coming out of retirement to play for the Oakland A's (pure entertainment there) and MLB sent me my re-up subscription email yesterday!!! BTW, this time MLB At Bat 12 will be FREE on iPhone, iPads, etc with subscription to MLB.TV....FREE!! baseball season is here! it's all back.....and to start it off MLB 2K12 will be in my grubby hands in just a few days, can't wait!!

I'm with you Klown I have been watching as much as they will show from the training camps. The red sox new spring training facility is awesome. They have a bunch of fields and one main field that they call Fenway south because it has the same measurements as Fenway. Green monster with the same score board and all it is beautiful. MLB 2k12 has been pre ordered for a while know can not wait to play it.

LOL, I noticed the NL lean too. But what can you do? Big moves were made all over the NL this offseason. We were seen as the boring league this time. Our big story? Getting rid of AJ Burnett to the Pirates (thank goodness!!!)

It's the little things that count:
***warnings and ejections are now in MLB 2K12 for drilling batters***
After a few batters are hit, the ump will issue a warning to each dugout. Anyone who hits a batter after the warning is issued will be ejected from the game.

And lastly, you will not have to access the in-game pause menu or use the D-pad shortcut to check if pitchers in the bullpen are warmed up. When a pitcher is fully warmed up, the gamer will be notified automatically.
