Favorite Game Mode?
What is your favorite game mode? I really like the squad deathmatch, but it seems broken somewhat. I would say that conquest is my favorite right now (on hardcore of course). To me that is the most fun and most balanced (and remides of BF1943). I’m sure some of the maps are going to be like domination were one side is going to get and advantage from the start, but it seems to even out really well once the game gets going. I’m not too fond of the rush mode here. It seems like there is a lot of bad level design, and one side wins a particular map the vast majority of the time. Also the vehicles don’t seem to be balanced well on the rush mode.

My fav is definitely conquest...it does have that BF 1943 feel to it. Which makes it really fun.
Re: Favorite Game Mode?
I have to agree I had a good time playing conquest on hard core with UC, Cass, and Diehard.

Re: Favorite Game Mode?
I love rush. It keeps things moving because people aren't sitting back and camping the entire round, and it FORCES everyone to do their part. Case in point, the day before yesterday zero and I were in a rush game on the atacoma desert map, and it could be described as nothing short of epic. Everyone on our side was doing their part and the medics were doing an incredible job getting med packs out and reviving, and there was an awesome clutch play at the train MCOM on the third section where me and another medic had like 20 revives in like one minute trying to keep the bomb alive.
If anything I don't like conquest as much because with the maps being as big as they are, it is kind of like "If I can't get into a vehicle, i'm not going to bother running and instead i'll snipe" sort of thing with randoms. You get enough of these type of people and it severely hampers your war effort. Vehicle or not, you need to cover your bases. That said, I think that the worst map for conquest is actually the map with the sunken ship in the center. It practically screams to everyone camp me with a sniper. The best map in my opinion for this game type is the map with the bombed out buildings, ABCD capture points, and has that ship yard in the middle of it.
Squad DM has been a favorite of mine. In its simplest form, it is a camp fest. However at high level play it requires a balanced team, lots of communication, and above all great environmental awareness. For this I like the second section of the atacoma desert map because it is all buildings, and very the fire fights can be intense from rooftop to rooftop. I also like White Pass for this one.

Re: Favorite Game Mode?
I like them all in their own right but I've been playing alot of SD deathmatch and conquest lately. Oh and on Hardcore like Miller said IMO it makes the game 10 times better.
Re: Favorite Game Mode?
I agree with Vision. Rush simply keeps the game running smooth. Most people for the main part stay with it. You get to use the full length of a lot of maps, which ends up with a pretty cool effect. It's nice to see the battlefield constantly changing, in ways that break up strangleholds that camping players can create.
Squad Deathmatch is great in my opinion. We spent ages in a Squad with Sticky, Vision, Glock, and Myself, and we hardly lost a match. let alone the games we got 50 points by the time the team behind us had something like 14.
Conquest is fine, aside from how back and forth they end up. when you are playing on a team, and you can only speak to your fireteam, it gets very frustrating trying to communicate, and plan the map out. Alsol, since it's an objective based game, people can set up and camp like little bitches. All in all, it's not so bad, I just get annoyed at the frequency of campers and how much time I spend running to go defend an objective.
As far as Hardcore mode, I can play with or without it. In standard mode, I use my reticules much more and play with a more assault based class. When playing Hardcore I kind of like either 1. Taking a Sniper rifle. or 2. Use the M8 with an ACOG. I swear, it takes almost nothing to whack people across the map with that gun in Hardcore.
Still, nothing is as fun as turning that Single Shot Recon Rifle into a single shot kill.

Re: Favorite Game Mode?
I'm with mcamp anything hardcore, I have not had this much fun team wise, since Chrome Hounds.
Stupid me, kept throwing sensor balls out in hardcore (thought to no avail) just figured out they work, but u have to manually check the map. I will start calling it out when they get deployed.
cheers,
Black Ajah

I have also found it infuriating to play in anything except hardcore. Its alot more realistic and you dont have to empty a whole clip into someone to drop em.
Hardcore is where its at.
