Help me find a good combination to play. :)

I've determined that I'm obviously not going to be a guy that has a very good K/D ratio, and that is fine with me as long as I'm doing things to help the team get things done. I ask all you more experienced CoD guys to help me figure out what would be a good setup to run.

Right now I'm thinking...

Blind Eye Pro for the faster launcher lock-on + extra bullet damage vs. enemy air support. (Use a LMG and Launcher for UAV's and Helos, etc...)

Hardline Pro since I don't get a lot of kills racked up, being able to get support kill streaks with one less kill and the added benefit of getting an added kill if I get 2 assists.

SitRep Pro for the ability to highlights enemy explosives and tactical equipment.

Would use Support kill streak with UAV, Counter-UAV and Recon Drone (since the drone gives you assists)

What do you guys think about that setup?

I'd maybe swap the recon drone out for something that occupies less of your time.

Not sure about an LMG, for the chances you do get, you'd probably want something a bit more well-rounded.

Also, if you're finding that you are coming off worst in head to heads, the majority of the time, then take it a bit slower. Hold down chokes, stuff like that.

If you're going to 'specialise' as you intend to, don't gear everything towards the 'little' things such as hunting down claymores, helo's, etc.

Also, if you're not strong on getting kills, then in the objective games, you'll be better off as a flag capper/runner, than you would as a support role.

Took some of that advice and had some good games tonight on Kill Confirmed. Also used the PP90M1 with rapid fire and an ACOG scope. That thing is sick, lol. Destroyed tons of helos and UAV's with using a Stinger. Dediced to use UAV, Counter UAV and SAM's for my streaks. I was probably just at or a little bit better than an even K/D ratio, which for me is actually pretty good.

Also perks that speed you up help a lot, with extended mags and rapid fire.

I really like the Advanced UAV in the support streak. It helps everyone and you can see which way they are facing. The SR71 was awesome in Blops and even if I didn't dominate all game long, if I could get one or two of those I know I made a big contribution to the team.

On weapons, just find what works for you. On Blops I eventually tried the FAMAS because that was what I got killed by most often. After trying it I loved it so much I never used anything else. Currently I'm still using a UMP45 because I haven't taken the time to try a lot of different guns so not sure what I like yet. Plus I got the gold camo so gotta sport that. I almost always use a silencer, and try not to use a red dot or other sight - I pick a gun with good iron sights instead. Rapid fire on any SMG will be deadly too. Since you don't have to waste a perk on Warlord anymore, I like having two attachments.

Slight of Hand is always my favorite - unbelievable how many times I get killed while reloading without it. Blind Eye is cool on a ghost class, marathon is useful on CTF or on the first spawn of a domination game to get to B quickly, and Scavenger can be useful if you are using rapid fire or a weapon that burns ammo too fast.

I've been using Hardline mostly so far for obvious reasons, but I really like all of em especially Quickdraw (faster ADS = more kills). Blast Shield is great for capping a point when nades and sh1t are flying in or on S&D so you don't get chumped by something random. Assassin is necessary on a ghost class.

I'm not in love with anyone of these but I like Steady Aim for my run-n-spray class and Dead Silence on my ghost class. Stalker and Sitrep seem interchangeable - I'd rather have the delayed explosive of Stalker but Faster ADS after sprint of Sitrep pro.

I tend to run a lot of the same stuff as Coolhand except I'm working the M4 (first assault rifle) and for my support streaks I use UAV or Advanced UAV and then the bombers (can't remember what they're called) and I ALWAYS use the fake exploding care package. I'm becoming quite lethal with that thing. I know that there's perks to negate it but I usually place it on objective points and some idiot sets it off and kills part of his team when they're trying to cap a point. It's hilarious!
