Specialist Strike Package Empty Specialist Strike Package

Post by S7 mrmiller Wed Nov 16, 2011 10:59 am

I just started trying out the specialist strike package last night, and it was really fun. I just unlocked all the perks, and thought it would be a good time to try it in some free-for-all matches. I noticed 2 perks that do not work when you hit the streak to have all the perks- overkill and hardline. So I created a class running overkill, and my fist of the streak perks was hardline. That made it easer to get the others too, as you get one at 2 kills (hardline) and the next is at 3 kills. I put assassin there, so I thought it might be funny if I was showing up on a UAV or HBM, and then I get a kill and just disappear. I don’t know how usefull having all the perks really is, but it’s a lot of fun running the specialist class when playing free-for-all.

That sound like fun, especially since it's so counter intuitive. I'm guessing that using Hardline/Hardline Pro is probably the best way to get those chains going for that. I'll have to try that out sometime.

I've tried it and liked it but I didn't really feel it was as beneficial to the team as the other two, neither did I feel that much more powerful.

I've used it a couple times and use hardline pro right off so I get the additional perks faster. I also like the idea of disappearing from radar after that kill. I think it will be great to run in free for all but like Epic said not very team oriented for those modes. I don't get on a huge tear like that too often anyway, so I'll stick with support as they added up even though I get killed after a few kills.
