Counter-Strike

Any old competitive Counter-Strike players here? If so thoughts on CS:GO? I'm going to give it a shot...but nothing will ever compare with CS1.3 - CS1.6.

I'll be picking it up, we have a few guys that were obsessed with the console version. I've played it on PC forever (still do today) so I'll be grabbing it too.

I Just missed out on cs s and want to get in on the new one when it comes out. Do we know the release date.

I loved it on the Xbox, play it on the PC every now and then but I love it with a controller. I just feel that the rounds are less formulaic when it's harder to get headshots, etc. You have to actually be decent at the game to do well.

As far as CS:GO goes, I'll be playing the hell out of it no matter what but it looks likes a different CS to the ones that came before it, so the jury will be out on that one. I just hope they revise the gun models that were seen in the gameplay footage.

It should be out soon-ish, I think?

No I'm talking about CS 1.3-1.6 for PC, I didn't like CS: Source

Nope, I wish it was. I would be a lot more excited if that were the case. That being said, still pretty excited.

I believe it's launching with 16 maps though. Originally, I think it was only 5/6, so I'm pretty freakin\' stoked to see that it'll be a fully-featured CS still. Only seen PC so far...but yeah. I love CS and I'm currently jobless, so I'll be on it a lot until my employment situation changes.

Was watching this video of the beta and they mention that the game will be cross platform between the PC mac and PS3 but not the xbox. Interesting. Look video and the commentary is not the best but interesting to see the game play.

Yeah, I was glad about that. I prefer Controller v Controller. KB/Mouse is imba.
