Batman Arkum City

Anyone picked it up? I got it last night from Amazon i must say it is great. Mechanics feel better than the first one. I bought it for my ps3 though being i had Asylum for ps3 as well.

It seems as though there's a handful of guys that got this, but I don't really have any interest in picking it up. It seems pretty cool but I don't remember the last time I bought or rented any superhero game.

I had arkum asylum; Haven't got arkum city though. I play these sometimes just to have something to do other than the "popular shooter" at the moment. I still get games like Black Ops, GOW3 etc. etc. obviously but sometimes I like to just play something different.

That's when I drop into DA2 or a sports game.

I will play this for sure. I enjoyed the first one (Arkham Asylum) and this one is getting amazing reviews. "Best superhero game ever!" and "Best game of the year" are both quotes that I saw just today. Unfortunately, I have a rather busy schedule coming up on top of some major releases so I have no idea when I will get around to playing it. It's on my GF back list so I will get it once I finish some other stuff like Rage.

I have the first one, I'm still playing it. I will be getting this one too. Great game.

It's at the top of my GF list, but I didn't send Rage back until late, so who knows when I will get it now. I'm looking forward to this one.

BTW- I have a code for the Green Lantern Corps suit for Batman that only works on PS3 if you are anyone else wants it.

I am still a little pissed about the Catwoman stuff (especially because I am renting therefor won't get it). Skins I could care less about but missing content is a different story.

From what I have read, it's a fairly big deal too. I may just go ahead and buy the DLC, or wait and purchase the game sometime next summer when the fall releases have settled and it's down to the $30 range. If gamefly doesn't send it before BF3 is released, I'm going to move it down or off.

My wife picked up the Collector's Edition... This game is excellent. Take the first one and make it prettier, darker, bigger and better... and there u have Arkham City. This game is at least a must rent, but if you enjoyed the last one, I encourage u to buy it and support the developers on this one so that they will continue to keep making these. I knew this game was going to be good, but wow... this game is so much more. Right now the ebox version of this game is sitting at 95 on metacritic. I'm digging up this old post to say that Amazon (and Best Buy did, or that's where I got mine) has the Game of the Year edition for $20. It comes with the expansion (Harly's Revenge), the Catwoman side missions, and the DLC outfits, as well as a bonus Year One Xbox Video download. Definately a great game worthy of the GOTY title. I'm glad I finally picked it up.
