Actually I read that they did try to use tranquilizers but it just aggravated the big cats and made them more dangerous. Tranquilizing in the wild or a cage is different. The animal can go wild till the sedative sets in but in a neighborhood with kids you can take that chance. I am not condoning killing these animals, just pointing out that fact.

yeah, they'd take like 6-12 mins. to be effective, and you don't really have that time when he immediately charges at you for shooting him. Shocked

Haven't you guys heard about "exotic animal hunting" in the states? It's a pretty messed up thing I heard about on 60 minutes a couple years ago that consists of having an animal "ordered" and sedated beyond belief and then tracked and hunted ion a relatively controlled area. There are unreal amounts of people who do this and are killed by tigers, lions, bears, rhinos, you name it every year because like Interseptor said they go into blood frenzies when sedated. It's kind of a sick justice put on the hunters that do such a horrible thing imo.

Also I read that zoos don't usually take in those animals that aren't documented or who aren't controlled in a state reservation because they aren't aware of the exact specifics of the breed (purity etc.) and their behaviors aren't trained.

There was a reply here and also a couple threads made by an unregistered guest referring to his xbox modding website. The reply and other threads have been trashed, so Thunder's post looks a little out of place now.
