Droid does...
My wife and I recently bought Droids and we're in the process of learning all the TONS of stuff they can do. I know some of you have had these phones for a while and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on some good apps/themes/etc that are worth downloading. Please post up here and help my wife and I wade through all the s**t apps that are out there.

Re: Droid does...
Loving mine so far,but I rarely use it to its full potential. When looking fo aps I just used a few google searches and found some good sites that suggest stuff like the top ten or twenty must have aps.
I reccomend the Amazon ap as you can scan bar codes or just take a pic of somethign and it will give you the amazon listings for it. Great for someone like me that actually still pays for all my movies and music Another cool ap is google sky map. Where ever you point your phone it will show a map of the sky with stars, planets, and galaxies.
One good tip I can give you is to turn off GPS unless you are using an AP that needs it and turn down your display brightness to around 50-60 percent of max. These two things will greatly improve your battery time. A task killer program is nice to have as well, I use the trial version of advanced task killer. Good to have if you install an ap that does not behave well and you need to shut it down with out turning off your phone.
