I don't know the reasoning either but I can tell you that there is a huge difference. Install for sure.

FYI- you should be able to use a flash drive if you do not have a HD that will take it. I hear it's less than a 2 gig install, and you are limited to 16 gig flash drives anyhow. You should be able to get an 8 gig flash drive for under $20, or even a 4 Gig for under $10.

I don't understand why but I get halfway through the install (disc 1) and my install quits...is anyone having similar problems?

EDIT: Nvm just had to give it the ole' spit and shine method.

Good Advice, it's worth the install! Klown when are you making the jump or is this not your type of game.

Install goes pretty quick. Didn't try it without but it's a very pretty game with it installed.

Same here. I did the same thing I did with Forza 4, install everything and enter all codes before playing so that I wouldn't have to stop after a while to enter/install anything. Game looks amazing!
