it was a prize i won so free ...
and when it comes to a graphic cards the price for the performance is almost always dead on
i mean ya you found a 1gb 560ti for 170 looking at newegg.com at that price you got a
ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
mine is
EVGA 02G-P3-1568-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
idk in my mind i think EVGA is hand down alot better then asus when it comes to graphics card.
either way you look at it the 560ti is a great card!!! myself if i did not win this card i would have gotten a 570. but with a 1,400 costume built pc sitting next to me ill take what i get for free
still waiting on my hyperx ram to get in =(

Re: few pc upgrades
Evga are not 'hands down' better than ASUS. Admittedly, the card you have is better than the ASUS one mentioned but Evga only do high-end versions of GPU's, so on average, they will be better. However, if you buy an ASUS card of similar price, it if often as good or better. In fact, I think the fastest of the GPU's out currently is an ASUS.
I'm rolling with an ASUS Maximus mobo and an Evga 9800GX2, so i'm definitely not biased,

Re: few pc upgrades
ASUS mobo's FTW. Oddly enough I always do the same combo ASUS mobo, Evga video card.
My PC is old enough now that it's getting close to time to upgrade.

about the only thing that is up-gradable in a laptop is the RAM everything is integrated into a kind of three tiered circuit board and there is no way to upgrade a single component what we are all talking on here are desktops, hell mine is a full tower and sits on the floor and i can wheel it around if need be because it has caters mounted on it.

I've modded mine into my desk so it's hidden. It's pretty sweet. Got the exhaust fans blowing into the footwell to give me a nice breeze.

Also, that tool is fail. The HDD that has 88gb left is the one used to backup my main HDD, which, has over 250gb left, plus the 1.2TB still left on the 2TB drive.
